Due to a large number of requests for storm debris pickups across the area, the City of Frisco's limb collection crews are running about half a day behind schedule. This means that about half of the residents who scheduled a pickup forTuesday did not have their limbs collected on Tuesday, but will instead have them collected Wednesday. This same delay will occur through the end of this week.

Collection crews should have an opportunity to make up this lost time by working on Saturday. The city's Environmental Services division asks Frisco residents to have patience this week as crews manage the large amount of debris leftover from last week's ice storm.

Residents who have already scheduled their pickup with Environmental Services should note that limbs following the storm debris set-out guidelines may be simply left at the curb and/or near the alleyway until they are collected. Residents living in the sections of Frisco with Friday as their regular service day may schedule a pickup of their storm debris until Thursday, Dec. 19, at noon. After this cutoff, residents will not be able to make it onto the next day’s list.
