New bakery café begins serving up premium coffee, baked treats and cookie cakes

Stonebriar Centre in Frisco just got doubly sweet with the grand opening of its second Nestlé® Toll House® Café by Chip® on Saturday, March 28.

The new café kiosk is located on the first floor, directly in front of the Apple Store, and is owned and operated by franchisee Alok Kapoor. Stonebriar’s first Nestlé Toll House Café opened in 2000, and has undergone multiple renovations over the years. Its popularity led Kapoor to the conclusion that a second café in the busy mall was warranted.

As he prepared to open his fifth Nestlé Toll House Café in the DFW Metroplex, Kapoor explained that he’s just as excited about the new café as he was with his very first.

“Stonebriar Centre shoppers have proven their love for the Nestlé Toll House cookies, cookie cakes and other treats we offer at our original café, and I have no doubt they’ll be happy to see a second location as well,” said Kapoor. “We’re inviting everyone to come by and take part in our grand opening festivities and to check out our beautiful new kiosk.”

The new café is one of the first across the country to feature the chain’s enhanced kiosk concept, including comfortable seating, digital menus displayed on eight LED screens and an upgraded design that showcases the concept’s distinctive product offerings in a more efficient and attractive manner. Seating is available around the sides of the kiosk in addition to tables and soft seating in the adjacent area.

“Alok has been a wonderful franchise partner since 2004 and he’s proven he knows how to provide outstanding service to our customers,” said Shawnon Bellah, Senior Vice President of Global Operations for Crest Foods Inc., who attended Saturday’s grand opening. “Stonebriar happens to be one of my favorite malls, so I’m especially pleased to see us double our presence here.

The premium dessert destination concept is built around the world's most powerful food brand – Nestlé. Along with its universally loved Nestlé Toll House cookies and cookie cakes, the new café serves brownies, muffins, smoothies, Nescafé® Milano coffee and ice creams.  Guests are able to customize their dessert by adding fresh fruit and toppings. The café is also a great lunch option, thanks to its made-to-order crepes and Panini sandwiches.

The new Stonebriar Centre café, located at 2601 Preston Road in Frisco, is the ninth in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, the 27th in Texas and the 145th Nestlé Toll House Café system-wide. Café hours are Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Sunday from 12 noon to 6 p.m.
