Taking place on Thanksgiving Day in Frisco Square, the North Texas Turkey Trot is a Frisco tradition for adults and kids alike. Not only is it a fun holiday experience, 100 percent of the proceeds benefit The Miracle League of Frisco, a non-profit organization celebrating its 10-year anniversary. Since 2005, The Miracle League of Frisco has provided local children ages five through 19 with mental and/or physical challenges the opportunity to play sports as a member of an organized league. The organization offers athletes the opportunity to participate in a variety of team sports - baseball, soccer, bowling, football and cheer, basketball, and track - in a fun, safe and rewarding environment. Because every child deserves the chance to play!
