A little friendly competition never hurt anyone, so if you or your child are up for the challenge, register for the 2012 Winter Games of Texas.

The Winter Games of Texas features amateur youth and adult athletes from across the state of Texas, competing in a variety of individual and team sports.  This year, the Winter Games will be held in Frisco, giving DFW residents a chance to get in on the action, whether they compete, volunteer or just come to watch.

The City of Frisco will host the Winter Games January 13-15, 2012.  Medal winners in each division will advance to the National State Games of America in Hershey, Pennsylvania during Summer 2013.

Sports include:

  • Basketball
  • Bowling
  • Fencing
  • Figure Skating
  • Flag Football
  • Gymnastics
  • Ice hockey
  • Martial Arts
  • Soccer
  • Swimming
  • Table Tennis
  • Volleyball
