Frisco Garden Club is presenting an educational program at the new Frisco Library on "Great Container Gardens". The program is open to the public, no charge for attendance. Join us to learn how to make your garden more attractive with information from a gardening expert. Whether you're working with limited space or looking for ways to add more interest to your landscape, container gardening adds versatility to gardens large and small.

In this presentation we’ll explore:

Advantages of containers

Types of containers

What containers need to be healthy

Choosing plants for your container

How to plant your container

We’ll also learn about designing containers:

Thrillers, Fillers, and Spillers

Pleasing color combinations

Placing containers in your landscape

All these plus beautiful photos to inspire you!

The Frisco Garden Club is the city of Frisco, Texas's oldest active organization. We are a 501c3, not for profit organization that promotes the beautification of our great city! Our mission is to promote an interest in gardens, their design and management, to cooperate in the protection of the wild birds, wildflowers, and native plants, and to encourage civic plantings. To complete this goal, we provide educational programs and resources for our members and Frisco residents. Come and attend our first presentation at the Frisco Library. We hope to have many more with subjects on current garden trends with expert information.
