Enjoy tastings from 20 beverage stops located inside your favorite downtown shops while exploring local boutiques, restaurants, and small businesses around the square. Your ticket includes a Craft Beer Walk tasting cup and a map guiding you to each stop along the way.

SPARK! Dallas presents SPARK! City, a first-of-its-kind immersive public art exhibition celebrating Dallas neighborhoods from June 5 through August 30, 2026..

Designed for both Dallas residents and visitors attending this summers international soccer festivities, SPARK! City transforms the venue into a journey through Downtown/Uptown, Deep Ellum, Oak Cliff/Bishop Arts, Vickery Meadow and The Cedars. Each neighborhood is brought to life through original artwork and immersive installations created by students from Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts, Emmett J. Conrad High School, and Dallas artist Erika Bauer.

Guests can explore the history, culture and creative spirit of each neighborhood while also enjoying SPARK!s popular play sculpture areas and Creative Corner. The exhibit is open Saturdays from 10 a.m.3 p.m., Sundays from 15 p.m., and select weekdays from 15 p.m. during FIFA Family Days.

Admission to SPARK! This year, communities across the nation are commemorating the 250th anniversary of the United States. As a part of the City of Allens celebration, Brad Billings will present a special talk exploring the life, legacy, and enduring influence of Benjamin Franklin at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, June 25 at the Allen Public Library. Not simply a Founding Father, Franklin was a man of extraordinary curiosity and endless ambition whose influence stretched across politics, science, publishing, diplomacy, and civic life. Franklin was a quintessential representative of the Enlightenment, often referred to as the Age of Reason.

The lecture will highlight Franklins numerous pursuits and accomplishments, including his work as a printer and publisher, one of the keenest political minds of the Revolutionary era, a celebrated Freemason, and a man with an insatiable curiosity that drove his experiments, inventions and scientific discoveries.

The presentation is intended to offer audiences a deeper understanding of the man behind the mythsone whose ideas about learning, citizenship, fraternity, and public virtue continue to resonate 250 years after the founding of the United States.

Brad S. Billings is a Past Grand Master of Masons in Texas and the current Grand Secretary.

Celebrate USA 250 with Dallas Banjo Band-In celebration of USA 250, the Dallas Banjo Band will perform 7:30 pm, Thursday, July2, at the Allen Public Library, 300 N. Allen Dr.

Sons of the American Revolution, donning colonial attire, will open the program with a presentation of colors. This will be followed by the National Anthem and a medley of patriotic music. The band will also play an assortment of jazz and big band favorites.

This 12-piece band has performed with the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, Garland Symphony Orchestra and Americas Got Talent. Their arrangements appear on the soundtrack for the film, Lugosi: Hollywoods Dracula.

The Daughters of the American Revolution will offer refreshments, and the Allen Quilters Guild will display vintage patriotic quilts.
