St. Philip's Frisco Welcomes Vietnam Veteran and Author Paul Reed July 5th

St. Philip’s Frisco welcomes Paul Reed, native Texan and Vietnam War veteran, as guest speaker Sunday, July 5th at both 9:30 and 11:00 am services. Paul is the author of Kontum Diary and assistant producer of the Emmy-Award winning PBS TV documentary of the same name.  His story has also been featured on the Today Show and 48 Hours.

Join us as Paul shares his own personal story of capturing an enemy diary and returning it to its owner/author years later in North Vietnam, and how the experience left him knowing it was God's secretive hand arranging their meeting all along.   His is a moving and inspirational story you won’t want to miss!

Militarily, Paul’s brigade had the honor of distinguishing 13 soldiers with the Medal of Honor (the highest military award for Heroism), 32 Distinguished Service Crosses, 1,736 Silver Stars and more than 6,000 Purple Hearts and Bronze Stars.

We invite you to come meet Paul Reed and hear his story! There will also be a book signing after services; copies of Kontum Diary will be available for purchase. St. Philip’s campus is located at 6400 Stonebrook Parkway in Frisco (NW corner of Stonebrook Parkway and Dallas Parkway). To learn more, visit stphilipsfrisco.org.
