St. Philip's Hosts 12th Annual "Blessing of the Animals" October 2nd

Pets are important members of our families! Join St. Philip’s Frisco on Sunday, October 2nd from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m., along with your animal companions, as we celebrate the Blessing of the Animals. This FREE community event will be held in the courtyard of St. Philip’s Episcopal Church (6400 Stonebrook Parkway). Celebrate the bond we have with our pets with souvenir pet photos, gourmet pet treats, St. Francis pet blessing tags and more!

We will also be collecting donations to benefit Patriot PAWS, a Texas-based nonprofit organization that trains and provides service dogs of the highest quality at no cost to disabled American veterans and others with mobile disabilities. Come meet a Patriot PAWS handler and a service dog-in-training and learn how they are helping our veterans restore their physical and emotional independence!

All members of the community are welcome; there is no charge for this event! Any household pet may be blessed; please bring them on a leash, or in a pet carrier for their protection. Bring your friends and their pets, too! For more information, call 214-619-5806 or visit StPhilipsFrisco.org.

St. Philip’s meets for worship each Sunday at 9:00 and 11:15 a.m. at 6400 Stonebrook Parkway in Frisco. For more information, visit StPhilipsFrisco.org.
