St. Philip's Hall will be dedicated on May 4.

St. Philip’s Episcopal Church in Frisco will officially dedicate its new multi-purpose building, St. Philip’s Hall, on the Stonebrook Campus, May 4. The new building will be home to 21,000 sq. ft. of worship, education and administration space. The public is invited to attend the dedication and open house reception from 12:00 – 2:00 pm.

St. Philip’s Hall is designed for maximum flexibility and will be utilized all week long by the church, preschool and Academy.  The brand new facility will feature large meeting spaces for fellowship gatherings, youth ministry, meetings, classes and seminars. Academy classrooms and staff/administrative offices will also be housed in the new building.

The Hall joins two other structures built on the St. Philip’s campus in 2006, on 10 acres just west of the Stonebrook Pkwy./Dallas Pkwy. intersection, which include a dedicated worship space seating more than 600.

The new building faces a large open courtyard edged with cloistered walkways, lush landscapes and the High Cross Garden. Traditional architectural themes such as the cloister walkways and gothic windows are hallmarks of the campus, but the new building also features contemporary design elements to reflect the dynamic and active congregation.

“Rather than build a large sanctuary as many churches do, we decided that it would be more impactful to have a building that could be used every day, not just Sunday. This new building will be in use seven days a week, and will allow us to build a stronger sense of community, help transform people’s lives and empower kids to change the world,” said Rev. Dr. Clay Lein, Sr. Pastor.  “God has done amazing things at St. Philip’s during our first 10 years of ministry, and we’re thrilled to be moving into our next decade of transforming lives. This expansion will impact not only our current members, but all of those that are to come in the future.”

St. Philip’s holds worship service at 9:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. Sundays at 6400 Stonebrook Parkway in Frisco. For more information, call 214-387-4700 or visit www.stphilipsfrisco.org.
