Preparing Every Town, Person, and Residence for Emergency Planning (PETPREP) is the first and only animal, emergency preparedness, charitable, educational, non-profit organization.  PETPREP was founded in an effort to eradicate the lack of animal, emergency preparedness and to mitigate animal displacement due to disasters. 

As a result of the potential consequences and vulnerabilities associated with the lack of preparedness, incorporating emergency planning for the entire household (humans and pets) should not be overlooked in emergency preparedness efforts.
