I’m pleased to welcome Melanie Brannan to Oasis. She brings her unique array of gorgeous impasto paintings to the gallery. Her use of texture and color is exquisite.

“Melanie has been creating all her life. Her early working years were spent as an art director in the corporate world for large international advertising agencies in Dallas. In 1985, she founded her own graphic design firm and had an impressive client list including Neiman Marcus and DFW International Airport. After a long, prolific design career, she went back to her first love...painting. She is presently a fine artist and educator. Her work is in private and corporate collections across the US and abroad. Melanie has painted exclusively with GOLDEN Artist Colors since 2009. In 2017, GOLDEN trained her to become a Certified Educator for this premium line of paints, pastes and gels. She joined this elite group of 200 international artists to become the North Texas Educator for GOLDEN. Mel is originally from Louisiana and has a BFA from Louisiana Tech University.”
