MUSTANG CREEK ESTATES OF FRISCO RESIDENTS TREAT CONSTRUCTION WORKERS TO LUNCH AS THANK YOU

While many people complain about the delays and mess created in construction zones, a group of seniors understands that these men and women are doing a service by making the city a better place to live. Residents and team members of Mustang Creek Estates of Frisco collectively decided to show their appreciation for all the recent hard work that went into redoing West Main Street, adding new utility facilities and expanding the road from four to six lanes to help decrease congestion. The senior living community treated approximately 30 Texas Sterling Construction employees to homemade chicken salad sandwiches in a timeless act of thankfulness. The construction team received sack lunches prepared with love and gratitude from the seniors.

“Texas Sterling Construction has great admiration for the community,” said Jason Nijim, project manager at Texas Sterling Construction Co. “We appreciate the seniors reaching out to our employees to recognize the hard work they do each and every day.”

Mustang Creek Estates of Frisco organized this activity to pay homage to people who serve the Frisco community every day and do not regularly receive the appreciation they deserve. This is one of the many examples of how the senior living community looks for ways to give back to the local community. The team commits to organizing fun and meaningful activities for senior residents of Mustang Creek Estates of Frisco.

“We’ve seen these men working hard right by our community every day, and we came up with this idea to show them our appreciation,” said Candy Jiwa, executive director of Mustang Creek Estates of Frisco. “Our residents had a blast during the activity, and we could tell how thankful the hardworking men and women were for our support. We are happy we could show them our gratitude.”

Mustang Creek Estates – whose mission is to provide seniors with high-quality residential-style assisted living and memory care at an affordable price – has additional locations in Allen, Burleson and Keller. Recently, Mustang Creek Estates opened its newest senior living community in Sachse.
