Level III Maternal Designation Awarded to Medical City Frisco

Healthcare excellence for mothers and newborns recognized by State of Texas

FRISCO – Medical City Frisco has been officially designated as a Level III Maternal Facility, by the Texas Department of State Health Services.

A Level III Maternal Facility designation reflects Medical City Frisco’s ongoing commitment to ensure that advanced, quality care is available for maternal patients in the community. State law requires that all facilities to apply for maternal level of care designation and undergo rigorous evaluation and verification to ensure compliance with stringent clinical care guidelines.

“This designation underscores our commitment to providing safe, quality care for women and their babies,” says Medical City Frisco CEO Patrick Rohan. “Our board-certified physicians, expert clinicians and compassionate care teams are among the many reasons Medical City Frisco is the destination of choice for maternal care in Frisco and surrounding areas.”

The designation comes after a meticulous review process from a multi-disciplinary team appointed and approved by the state.
