OrthoTexas, an orthopedic practice that comprises 28 world-class orthopedic physicians and surgeons with a “patient first” approach to care, announced it will continue its sponsorship of the Texas Legends, a professional basketball team based in Frisco, for the fourth consecutive year. OrthoTexas’ Dr. Alex Glogau, will also continue as the team physician.

In this role, Dr. Glogau will make the medical decisions involving the 11 players and staff and will conduct any surgeries as needed. 

“I am honored to work with such a great team again and give back to the community,” Dr. Glogau said. “I look forward to work hard in order to make sure the athletes stay on their A-game. I’m excited to see some great wins for the Legends.”

OrthoTexas sees this as an investment into the community of North Texas, specifically Frisco. They want to continue educating people on the importance of bone and joint health, as well as the importance of properly taking care of sports related injuries. The Texas Legends are a major part of the Frisco culture and OrthoTexas is excited to be a part of it.
