There is a looming crisis in your neighborhood, and you have the power to help.

North Texas is currently in desperate need of blood donations. During the summer months, donation centers regularly face shortages, with some only one trauma or emergency away from using up their entire supply.

Donating blood takes only 1 hour, but that time can have a truly astonishing impact on the lives of those in our community.

Did you know that…

  • Every donation save three lives?*

  • 4.5 million American lives are saved every year from blood transfusions?*

  • Someone needs blood every three second?*

  • 37% of the U.S. population is eligible to donate blood, but less that 10 % actually do?*

  • Healthy adults that are at least 17 years old and weigh at least 110 pounds may donate blood every 56 days?*

Consider helping out your family, friends, and neighbors by joining Centennial Medical Center for one of its monthly blood drives.  The next monthly blood drive is on Monday, August 25, 2014 from 1:30 to 6:30 PM.  Walk-ins are welcome and no appointments are necessary.

Future blood drives will be held at Centennial Medical Center on the following dates:

Monday, September 29, 2014 1:30pm - 6:30pm

Monday, October 27, 2014 1:30pm - 6:30pm

Monday, November 24, 2014 1:30pm - 6:30pm
