At Nathan Grace, we believe in real people, real business. Most importantly, our real people are our agents. Those hardworking community members that make our business thrive.
This week, we’d like to make a shout out to Desha Byars. A beautiful woman, mother and agent who’s rockin’ the Frisco market with her bubbly personality and dedication to her clients.
We got with Desha and asked her a couple of (serious and not-so-serious) questions so you in the community can get to know this real estate agent like we do:
Q: What are your best business practices?
A: I do business the same as I live my life - with trust, honesty, integrity and loyalty.
Q: What charities are you involved with?
A: I have the privilege of being a part of Frisco Women’s League, where I have the opportunity to serve our community. Frisco Family Services and Clean Up Our Streets are also two of my favorites. I enjoy working with various children’s activities and events and making and delivering cards and treats for nursing homes. It has been an amazing and rewarding way to help my community. I also contribute to my profession through the Texas Real Estate Political Action Committee and Women’s Council of Realtors.
Q: Where does your game day loyalty lie?
A: My family and I LOVE Friday night football! Nothing is better than sitting in the stands, cheering on our high school team and eating concession-stand nachos.
Q: What has been your biggest reward?
A: Being a PARENT is by far the biggest and most rewarding thing I have ever accomplished. My three children are the loves of my life and I would give them the moon to see them succeed.
Q: Who was your teen idol crush?
A: New Kids on the Block
Q: What do you wish kids today could experience?
A: A day with NO texting or social media. Our kids are losing the ability to have a conversation because of text and social media. They need their voices back!
Q: What do you love about your community?
A: What’s not to LOVE! Frisco is a great place to raise a family. From the school district to community events, shopping, sports, restaurants, etc. - it’s all right here in Frisco!
Q: How do you make a daily difference?
A: I try to be a good listener, friend and shoulder to lean on. I am always here for my family, friends and clients.
