St. Philip’s Episcopal Church in Frisco will hold 3 ‘Stations of the Cross’ services on Good Friday, April 3rd, commemorating the path Jesus walked on his way to the crucifixion. ‘Stations of the Cross’ incorporates a series of 14 visual reminders, or stations, of Jesus’ last hours. During the service, participants walk slowly along the stations, pausing at each for a devotional reading, quiet meditation and prayer. Each ‘Stations of the Cross’ service provides a deeply moving experience for the entire family.

Traditional Stations of the Cross at noon and 6:00 pm – led by clergy using the traditional devotion booklet; appropriate for all ages.

Family Stations of the Cross from 2:30 – 5:00 pm – this self-led service follows a family-friendly devotional booklet and allows families to experience Jesus’ walk to the crucifixion together at their own pace.

St. Philip’s is located at 6400 Stonebrook Parkway in Frisco. Easter weekend services will be held at 2:00, 4:00 and 7:00 pm on Saturday, April 4th (Children’s Services with egg hunt following @ 2:00 and 4:00) and 8:00, 9:30 and 11:00 am on Sunday, April 5th.
