Risland U.S. Holdings has reached an agreement with Prosper Independent School District (Prosper ISD) for a new elementary school and middle school within its Legacy Gardens development. Located just west of the Dallas North Tollway and north of Highway 380, Legacy Gardens is a 300-acre single-family community located on Prosper Trail with homes designed by leading luxury builders such as Risland Homes and Drees Homes.

“From day one, it has been a high priority for us to build a community that delivers not only lifestyle, but also convenience for our residents. We could not be prouder to have two future Prosper ISD schools located within Legacy Gardens,” said Michael Hanschen, Senior Managing Director at Risland US Holdings. “Risland is committed to creating a family-friendly atmosphere in all of our communities, and we look forward to further cultivating that environment by incorporating these campuses.”

As Legacy Gardens continues to develop, it is anticipated that the priority will be the middle school, which will be conveniently located off of Legacy Drive. The elementary school will be located off Shawnee Trail, just north of Legacy Gardens’ first phase of development. The central location of the campuses will allow students to walk to and from school without having to cross any major roads or busy corridors.

Legacy Gardens features more amenities than other communities of its size, including a soon-to-open, state-of-the-art amenity center – The Glass House – which boasts an infinity-edge resort-style pool, fitness studio, yoga lawn, indoor and outdoor play spaces, coworking space, entertainment lounge, conference room and more. The development also features walking trails lined with lush landscaping and a community pond for all to enjoy. These amenities, coupled with luxury homes and future onsite Prosper ISD schools, make Legacy Gardens the ideal community for families in North Texas.
