The Girls Scouts of the United States of America are more than just those extremely tasty cookies you receive once every year.

Girl Scouts are about empowering girls to learn about values such as honesty, fairness, courage, compassion, sisterhood and citizenship.

If your daughter, niece or granddaughter is interested in becoming a Girl Scout, then mark your calendar's for Monday, November 26 from 5 to 6 p.m.

All materials and supplies will be supplied by the Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas.
