Hey, sleepyhead! On December 1, Santa’s inviting everyone to “PJ Saturday” at Stonebriar Centre’s New North Pole. Santa knows it’s hard to get up and going, so he wants everyone wearing their holiday pj's to come and visit any time from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

“Children look precious in their holiday pajamas, and what could be a cuter picture than little ones in their pjs sitting on Santa’s lap? It could be the cutest holiday memory ever,” said Stacy Schuch, marketing manager for Stonebriar Centre. “Plus, the kids will think it’s fun to come to Stonebriar Centre in their pajamas.”

A special “PJ Saturday” surprise: On Saturday, December 1, Hanna Andersson, the Swedish retailer known for its adorable holiday collections for not only boys and girls, but also mom's and dad's, will give away a pair of boys’ pajamas and a pair of girls’ pajamas from their holiday collection. Visitors to Santa can register to win the pajamas from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the New North Pole on the lower level of the shopping center near Dillard’s and Sears. The drawing will be held at 12:15 p.m. at Hanna Andersson (located on the upper level near The Limited). The winners will be drawn at random and must be present to win.

More holiday activities at Stonebriar Centre:

  • Visits with Santa at the New North Pole: Every day during the holidays, Santa will welcome guests in the New North Pole, located near Dillard’s and Sears. There is no charge to visit with Santa; elves will be on hand to take a commemorative photo, if desired. Santa will be at Stonebriar Centre through Monday, December 24.
  • Story Time with Santa on select Mondays: Santa loves books and he wants all his little friends to come and join him as he reads a few of the season’s favorite stories at Stonebriar Centre. Dates are Mondays, November 12, 19 and 26 and December 3 at 12 noon. Story Time, held at the New North Pole, is at no charge.
  • Elf Academy on Saturday, November 17: Stonebriar Centre hosts Elf Academy, where children under six and adults can travel station to station, learning about how to be an elf. Upon graduation, each participant will be a certified holiday helper. There are two sessions of Elf Academy on November 17, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 2 to 4 p.m. There is no charge to attend and reservations are not required. The activity is designed for children six and under, but all ages are welcome. The Elf Academy will be held at the New North Pole, near Dillard’s and Sears.
  • Mondays are for furry friends: Santa loves to visit with his furry friends, so on Mondays, November 19 and 26, December 3, 10 and December 17 from 6 to 9 p.m., Stonebriar Center hosts Pet Nights for cats and dogs to pose with Santa and the family. Photo packages start at $23. (Cats and dogs on a leash or in an appropriate carrier only, please.
