A great day of golf and camaraderie was enjoyed by 144 golfers at Frisco Family Services’ 16th Annual Mayor’s Golf Classic on Monday, June 18, 2018, at Stonebriar Country Club, presented by Baylor, Scott, & White Medical Center of Frisco. John Keating, Frisco’s Deputy Mayor Pro Tem was joined on the course by local community members and business leaders, and the tournament was chaired by Robert Chase, BB&T Market President of North Dallas.

The golfers demonstrated their commitment to the community and their neighbors in crisis by being a part of the annual tournament to support the mission of Frisco Family Services.  Proceeds from the Mayor's Golf Classic benefit Frisco Family Services’ programs and services that assist more than 3,490 individuals in the Frisco and Frisco ISD communities each year.

“It’s such an honor to host members of our local community, business leaders and supporters of our organization,” said Melanie Smoot, Development Director at Frisco Family Services. “It was a joyous day full of fun and competition, but also a day to make a significant difference in the lives of our neighbors in crisis. We set a lofty fundraising goal, and our community helped us hit the mark! Over the years, this tournament has really grown into something special, and we’re already looking forward to next year’s event.”

A huge thank you goes out to the sponsors and volunteers who helped make Frisco Family Services’ tournament an exciting and successful fundraising event.
