The Frisco Book Fest is a festival for readers and writers alike. On Saturday, November 4 from 1:00 to 5:00 PM at the Frisco Public Library, guests will have a chance to talk to local authors and illustrators, attend author panels, and learn more about the publishing process. Community partners, including Henery Press and the Writers Garret, will be on hand to offer valuable information on a number of outlets for authors.

“We’re so excited to have the Frisco Book Fest back for its second annual year!” says Sarah O’Pella, Adult Services Librarian and event coordinator. “Last year was such a huge success. Authors and guests alike loved the chance to interact with each other. This year, we’ve expanded the festival to offer more presentations and panels, so there will really be something for everyone!”

In addition to the many presentations and panels celebrating local authors and illustrators, there will also be local author booths in the Atrium where guests can meet their favorite local authors, discover new ones, and pick up copies of autographed books and other literary swag.

The Frisco Book Fest is open to all ages free of charge and no registration is required. For full event details, please visit friscolibrary.com/friscobookfest, or call the Library at 972-292-5669.
