The Frisco RoughRiders have hired Regina Lyn “Gina” Pierce as the team’s new Director of Entertainment. Fans may recognize Pierce as one of the RoughRiders’ on-field game day entertainment hosts at Dr Pepper Ballpark, a position she previously held for the past four seasons.
In her new role, Pierce is responsible for organizing and executing all aspects of the game day entertainment for RoughRiders games. That includes the hiring and training of “The CREW,” the RoughRiders’ on-field entertainment team, and the audio/video team that operates the video/LED boards and sound system at Dr Pepper Ballpark.
“This opportunity is a fantastic one and I am thrilled to grow within the RoughRiders family,” Pierce said. “I am excited to expand my responsibilities beyond the field and take on a larger part of the fan experience. I love getting to know our fans and am looking forward to continuing to make each night a memorable one at Dr Pepper Ballpark.”
A Katy, Texas native, Pierce made her way to the Metroplex in 2003 from the Houston area to pursue her passion in the arts and entertainment. Before joining the RoughRiders staff, Pierce served as a brand ambassador for various agencies, representing a number of nationally recognized companies. She also spent time on the stage and around the camera, performing in local theatre and on the sets of primetime shows including Prison Break and The Deep End. Later, Pierce worked as the DFW Events Manager for First Class Models, staffing and managing large events in the area. She also spent time as the Marketing Coordinator for Grand Spa, the largest day spa in Dallas.
