Frisco Square turns into an outdoor fine art gallery March 23-24, 2013 during Arts in the Square from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Arts in the Square is an annual, juried Fine Arts festival featuring the best national and regional artists who sell their original creations. The 4th annual Arts in the Square is co-presented and hosted by Frisco Square Property Owners Association, which maintains a reputation of bringing high-end buying crowds to this event, SoDeVis and Collin County Arts Association.

Arts in the Square festival, is an event that affords artists from around the country an opportunity to showcase their works to the North Texas community. The event boasts free admission and parking

The artists are competing in the following categories: Clay, Drawing/Graphics/Printmaking, Fiber/Leather, Glass, Jewelry, Metal, Mixed Media, Painting, Photography/Digital Art and Wood. "Many of these artists travel the country attending the most prestigious art festivals available.

"We're honored to welcome them to Frisco," said Cathy Sweeney, Frisco Square Property Owners Association producers of the festival. Ongoing performing arts, interactive children’s art activities, live music provided by Collin County Song Writers Association, shopping and great food from Frisco Square’s award -winning restaurants ensures that this is a festival everyone will enjoy.

Over 15,000 visitors attended the 2012 festival. In addition to providing the community with a high-quality cultural
event, the festival brings a great fine arts experience to the Frisco community.
