Ho! Ho! Ho! Stonebriar Centre is having a party to welcome Santa Claus to town! It’s a very special party and everyone is invited to join in the fun at the Santa On Ice Welcome Party Saturday, November 10 at The ICE at Stonebriar Centre.

The fun begins at 3:00 p.m. when the Stonebriar Centre Skating Academy will take to The ICE and perform The Welcoming of Santa. The skaters, about 60 who range in age from three to 19, will entertain guests with skating routines that are beginning to advanced. There will be special performances by the Synchronized Skating Team and several solo skaters who compete at the national level.

The highlight of the afternoon will be when Santa enters the rink on a Zamboni! Dressed in his holiday best, he will circle the ice, waving to all the guests. Santa will wander through the crowd, shaking hands and visiting with the guests. Everyone will be invited to parade with him through Stonebriar Centre as he makes his way to the New North Pole located just down the way near Dillard’s and Sears.

There is no charge to attend the Santa on Ice Welcome Party, but guests are advised to come early. The ICE is located on the lower level near Sears.

Along with the welcome party, Stonebriar Center has lots of holiday activities planned, including:

• Visits with Santa at the New North Pole. Every day during the holidays, Santa will welcome guests in the New North Pole, located near Dillard’s and Sears. There is no charge to visit with Santa; elves will be on hand to take a commemorative photo, if desired. Santa will be at Stonebriar Centre through Monday, December 24.
