Whether you want to supercharge your career, foster your entrepreneurial spirit, or update your headshot, Hack Your Career Day, at Frisco Public Library (FPL) on Saturday, January 12, has you covered. The new year is the perfect time to plan a career boost, and FPL has curated an impressive panel of experts to get you there.

Emcee Suad Bejtovic, Frisco Enterprise’s 2016 Reader’s Choice for Best Photographer, will keep attendees informed throughout the day. There are two career-upping tracks that run from 11 am to 4 pm:

Work Smarter:

11 am             Welcome and Goal Setting: Kevin Smith, MBA, ICF, and Board-certified coach

1 pm               Tips and Tricks for Career Transitions: Roxanne Verrelli, Assistant Director of Frisco Career Services at UNT Frisco

2 pm               Make the Most of Your LinkedIn Profile: Dave Quinn, CEcD and president of BeingWell365

3 pm               Think Like an Entrepreneur: Erin Smith, serial entrepreneur and small-business coach

Build Your Career:

1 pm               Resume creation and editing with Kevin Green

2 pm               Interviewing techniques

3 pm               Personal infographics: Use Canva to highlight your career achievements with Cassie Wickline

You can get an updated headshot free of charge throughout the day. All you need is a USB drive to store the photo.
