Frisco Family Services 25th Anniversary Gala Celebrates Big Milestone in a Big Way

On Saturday, March 23 both new and long-time supporters gathered at Hilton Dallas/Plano Granite Park to celebrate Frisco Family Services’ 25th year of commitment to the community. The nonprofit’s annual Gala – ONE is their largest fundraising event of the year, and draws in huge crowds as one of the must-attend events in the local Frisco and Frisco ISD community. This year’s event was no exception.

Nearly 500 attendees came together as ONE, with ONE purpose in mind – to make ONE big impact in their community. From the music to the entertainment, missional elements and much more, Frisco Family Services was truly dedicated to ensuring an elevated experience for their 25th Anniversary celebratory gala. To kick off the night, the Emerald City Band, voted best party band in America, played a variety of music that brought the energy in the room to an all-time high. Guests enjoyed an ever so popular tasting presented by eight local restaurant partners that offered a variety of foods from hors d'oeuvres to dessert, while a live speed painter created a custom painting within the length of only a few songs. The painting was then auctioned off along with a variety of luxurious trips and experiences, including a 25 things to do in Frisco package, by Auctioneer, Jeff Copeland, that brought the live auction portion of the evening to a new level as his hilarious and enthusiastic performance had guests laughing and jumping out of their seats to bid on exceptional items. Only a handful of guests were able to go home with their live auction winnings, but not to worry, over 200 silent auction items provided the opportunity to bid on just about anything you could imagine throughout the entire evening.

The true purpose of the evening was brought to life as a former Frisco Family Services’ client inspired the audience with her heartfelt and personal story of navigating through an unexpected life crisis. After seeing the impact their support can have on the lives of others in their very own community, patrons exceeded the nonprofit’s fundraising goal as they committed to donating funds to help provide Emergency Financial Assistance throughout the next year, which will help families stay in their homes, keep utilities connected, purchase prescription medication, offset childcare expenses, and provide for other crucial needs.
