Pet lovers in Frisco have a new place to pamper their pups. Petbar on Eldorado Parkway just west of the Dallas North Tollway is welcoming pets and their people to a Mardi Gras-themed Grand Opening celebration from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 19. The new location is at 4880 W. Eldorado Parkway, Frisco.
The Mardi “Paws” Party is free to the public. All visitors – human and not – will enjoy snacks, treats and giveaways throughout the day. In keeping with the Mardi Gras theme, a pet caricature artist will be on-site, so bring your favorite picture of Fido for the artist to work from. Additionally, petbar will waive the $100 membership initiation fee for any guests who sign up for a membership at the Frisco location during the Grand Opening event.
As busy working moms with 10 kids between the two of them, the only things that petbar franchise owners Trish Judson and Kristi Long love as much as their families are their pets. The two have built on their love of dogs to open the Frisco petbar, their second franchise location. Their first pet boutique, in Forestwood Shopping Center in Dallas, opened successfully in November.
“Petbar really makes caring for your beloved pet fun and easy,” said Long, who also works as a chiropractor. “Our concierge grooming team is amazingly talented and has such a high commitment to excellence. We treat your pets as if they’re our own.”
Petbar offers concierge-level pet grooming and washing with full and self-service available including state-of-the-art equipment and a clean, open-air environment. Membership plans are available that will help keep pets clean all month long for one low price.
“People are always asking us for our best pet grooming tip,” said Judson, who also works as a fitness professional. “We cannot over-recommend brushing your pet weekly, if not daily. It makes grooming so much more enjoyable for your pet.”
Judson and Long plan several more petbar franchises in North Texas. Their next location, in Plano, is scheduled to open in late 2023.
