Tuesday, Aug. 20, employees from Centennial Medical Center in Frisco and Staples, the world’s largest office supply company, spent the morning delivering school supplies for the students of Bright Elementary. Employees also presented the school with a check.

Together, Centennial staff members raised more than $6,600 to purchase supplies for approximately 200 children in need. With 42 percent of Bright Elementary students on free or reduced lunch plans due to financial status, Centennial’s community outreach program, called “Spirit of Giving,” is making a big financial impact on the school as well as parents’ pocketbooks, helping fulfill school supply needs for the 2013-2014 school year.
