Amidst a flurry of merriment, Santa Claus arrives at Stonebriar Center on Saturday, November 9 at 9:30 a.m. He’ll arrive outside at the mall entrance between Macy’s and jcpenny in a vintage 1940s fire truck, escorted by the Frisco Fire Department. On hand to welcome the celebrated guest will be festive dancers and cheerleaders who will lead Santa and his fans on parade through the center, inviting everyone to join in.
The parade will wander through Stonebriar Centre, ending in Sears court where Santa will settle in and be ready to visit with little ones. Immediately after the parade, guests will enjoy Reindeer Games where little ones can frolic and have fun, enjoying holiday games, prizes, crafts and more. A spirited DJ will lead the party in singing and dancing, plus there will be face painting, too. The first 250 children at the Reindeer Games will receive a free Rudolph blinking ornament.
The highlight of Santa’s arrival will be a special appearance by members of the Chamberlain Performing Arts Nutcracker troupe. Costumed cast members will be at the Reindeer Games until 11:45 a.m., posing for photos and teaching simple ballet steps to guests.
At his Frisco North Pole near Dillard’s and Sears, Santa will be ready for visits and pictures beginning November 9 through Tuesday, December 24. There is no charge to visit with Santa; elves will be on hand to take a commemorative photo, if desired. Please check with one of Santa’s helpers or visit www.shopstonebriar.com for his schedule. He does take breaks to feed the reindeer. Photo packages start at $23.
