Two Frisco Drill Team Captains Make World-Famous Kilgore Rangerettes

Two recent Frisco ISD graduates have earned spots on the Kilgore College Rangerettes 75th line.

Madeline Doerr is a 2014 graduate of Wakeland High School, where she was the captain of the Legacy Line Drill Team.

Emily Bovshow is a 2014 graduate of Centennial High School, where she was the captain of the Sweethearts Drill Team.

The Rangerettes are a prestigious dance team known across the country and around the world. The group performs regularly at the Cotton Bowl, Dallas Cowboys half-time shows, national parades and presidential inaugurations. Selection for the line is a significant honor.

Emily and Madeline will be roommates at Kilgore College. They are pictured at right making the traditional "K" of the Kilgore Rangerettes.

You can see these young ladies in their first performance as rangerettes during the upcoming Rangerette Showoffs on August 22, 7:30pm at the Dodson Auditorium in Kilgore, Texas. For more information on the line, or to find out what special events the 75th line has in store, check out the rangerettes website or catch them on facebook.
