COOL AND UNIQUE FOR SUMMER – Create Your Own Family’s Board Game

If you’re a mom like we are, you have a great appreciation for SUMMER CAMPS that cater to older kids (ages 7 – 17).  Designed so that older kids don’t have to spend their summer at home watching TV, the Heard-Craig's FAMILY LEGACY CAMP accomplishes several goals at once, the most important being a “focus on the family and creating a family legacy”.    

Running July 10 – July 14, 2017, the FAMILY LEGACY CAMP spends a week working with your child to create your own BOARD GAME.   Your family's game will be complete with your family’s photos, your history, your favorite places, and your legacy.  The first day of camp focuses on the game structure, the second day on the board structure, the third and fourth on the pieces and family cards, and the fifth on polishing the final details.  Although base supplies will be provided, all camp participants will be required to bring certain items each day of the camp (e.g. photos).  

What if I’m not a kid but would like to take the camp to create my own family’s legacy…can I do that?  Of course!   The camp is open to anyone who wants to develop a board game to hand down to their family members.  Custom designed by each camp participant, this makes a significant and sentimental gift for a holiday, for grandma, for mom or dad, or for a child.
