Raising Cane's Frisco locations are both partnering with Clothe a Child to raise money to help them clothe kids on Wednesday, Aug. 22.  From 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., come out and have dinner and support Clothe a Child in the process.  15 percent of all proceeds will be given to Clothe a Child when guests mention Clothe a Child at time of ordering, including orders in the Drive Thru.

Clothe a Child partners with area churches, organizations, individuals and businesses in the community to serve the new clothing needs of economically disadvantaged school children in Frisco, Little Elm and Prosper ISD, from kindergarten through eigth grade.

The Need: All communities have children in need of new clothes.  Unfortunately, not all families have the means to provide the basic clothing items they need for school - shoes, shirts, jackets, jeans, etc. As Christians in the community, we feel the call to help these children obtain new clothes.

Our Mission: Clothe a Child seeks to address the clothing needs of economically disadvantaged children in our communities through partnerships with Kohl’s Department Store in Frisco, Frisco ISD, Little Elm ISD, Prosper ISD, churches, friends and businesses.  We want to be intentional in addressing the ever-growing needs of children in our community.

Our Vision: Provide $100 of new clothing to each child in the program through our annual event at Kohl’s in Frisco.  Volunteers are paired with a family to assist them in shopping (volunteers must be age 16 or older). Clothe a Child seeks to accomplish this by expanding its reach through partnerships with churches, businesses and neighbors.

Our Goal:  For 2012, Clothe a Child has set a goal of providing $100 of clothing to 2,300 area Frisco, Little Elm and Prosper ISD children. At least 1,800 volunteers are needed to serve the families attending these events.
