FC Dallas players Mauro Diaz and Mauro Rosales took their skills off the turf and into a wind tunnel at iFly Dallas.  The 50’ tall wind tunnel accurately simulates free-fall conditions in a recirculating column of wind averaging 100 -125 mph, creating the sensation of flight.

Originally from Argentina, Diaz and Rosales had never experienced indoor-skydiving.  Jumping into 100 mph winds to float midair was exhilarating, and Diaz and Rosales flew with the same confidence and agility as they exhibit on the soccer field.

Diaz and Rosales will play their season opener with FC Dallas on March 6 at Toyota Stadium in Frisco.

“Diaz and Rosales were all smiles,” said Shelly Jackson, Director of Sales and Marketing for iFly.   “While they were not allowed to juggle a ball in the wind tunnel, both players exhibited natural coordination and focus as if they were competing in a game. It’s always fun to see pro athletes try a different sport. When you get two peers flying, it makes for entertaining competition.”
