FRISCO, TX – May 21, 2015 – Congressman Sam Johnson and Mrs. Angela Paxton, wife of Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, will speak at the Frisco Area Republican Women’s (FARW) 13th Annual Scholarship Dinner and Fundraiser on the evening of Wednesday, May 27, at Stonebriar Country Club in Frisco.
The Annual Shirley Melton Johnson Scholarship Dinner and Fundraiser benefits two of Frisco’s outstanding high school seniors each with a $1000 college scholarship to students who exhibit the best that Frisco has to offer. Through the Frisco Education Foundation, applications are put through a rigorous selection process that evaluates students based on academic performance, significant involvement in extra curricular activities, volunteerism and community service. Only the best and brightest our city has to offer have a chance at receiving this well deserved honor. Frisco, with both its residents and small businesses, has a long history of giving back and investing in its future with the Frisco Education Foundation playing a key role in this effort.
Before the dinner, join us for Sips and Shopping! We will be hosting a small silent auction, a “Wine Pull,” and a LIVE auction among many other fun surprises!
We hope to underwrite the entire event’s expenses AND scholarship funds! Additional funds will be used to fund future scholarships, donations towards organizations that we support such as Frisco Reach Out, Children’s Advocacy Center Denton County, club activities, Republican campaign donations, etc. For sponsor benefits, please click here
