There is no better way to wrap up a day than wiggling out and winding down with Ms. Bonnie at Frisco Public Library.  This new music and movement story time takes place Wednesdays at 6:30pm in the second floor programming room. Families with children from infancy to age five are welcome.

The class promotes early literacy and motor development with rhythm, rhyme, music and movement.  Each week, participants boogie with a fun instrument, wiggle along with a book, stretch to songs, and wind down with a calming bedtime story.  All activities, whether through presenter variation or caregiver instruction, are adaptable to target 1s, 2s, and, 3-5s age groups.

“Making sounds with instruments and moving to music grab the attention of kids at any age,” says Bonnie Barber, Librarian - Youth Services.  “That music and motion is at the heart of Shake, Rattle, & Read and is what makes this an engaging class for such a varied age range.”
