FRISCO, TX. (August 12, 2015) Registration ends August 23 for fall sports at the Frisco YMCA! With summer coming to a close, keep your kids active—sign them up for flag football, cheerleading, and youth & ankle bitter soccer.
The YMCA sports program focuses on work in three key areas: youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. Nurturing the potential of kids, helping people lead healthier lives, and supporting our neighbors are fundamental to strengthening our communities.
Flag Football
The Frisco Y flag football league is geared toward kids looking to play flag football as well as to further develop football skills, tactics, teamwork, and most importantly - HAVE FUN! Flag Football is open to ages 5-12 years old. The season begins September 12.
Soccer
Youth: Players will have fun while developing an appreciation for soccer and physical activity. They will practice basic to advanced skills and drills, while learning sportsmanship and teamwork. For ages 5 through 12, boys and girls. The season beings September 12.
Ankle Biters: Players will have fun while developing an appreciation for soccer and physical activity! For ages 3-4 boys and girls. The season beings September 12.
Cheer
Cheerleading offers girls the chance to get active and have some fun cheering. Cheerleaders will build self-confidence and self-esteem while developing social skills and healthy relationships with other girls. Learn the fundamentals of cheerleading including basic motions, jumps, cheers and chants. Cheer is open to ages 5 to 13 years old.
