Impacted by the recent attack on Dallas police officers, Stayci Runnels, Director of Leaderboard Events, is organizing the Hit the Green, Back the Blue Golf Tournament at the Eldorado Country Club in McKinney, Texas August 29th. Runnels is working directly with the ATO Foundation, to donate money to the five families of the fallen Dallas Police officers.
Recent Dallas Baptist University grads Noah Benjamin, Ebin Thomas and several close friends are on a mission to raise $100,000 for fallen officers' families, selling Dallas Strong merchandie. Through their company, HiveCreate, they’ve developed #DallasStrong yard signs, shirts and vehicle decals. Looking for support, their opportunity came at an unexpected moment.
Dallas Strong was approached by Runnels after she saw the young men on a news broadcast. “I was impressed by their initiative and heart to support the officers, and I reached out so that we could join efforts,” said Runnels. Together they hope to continue the effort to raise even more money for the Assist the Officer Foundation.
So far, they have received tremendous support from friends and local businesses. Former Dallas Cowboys linebacker Lee Roy Jordan said he hopes to attend with close friends. “I am supportive of Stayci’s team and Dallas Strong as they put together this event,” said Jordan. “This is a great charity and we certainly hope Chief David Brown will be in attendance as my guest.”

Runnels alongside Benjamin and his team ask for the public’s support to stand with them on that day.
