Employees from Kohl’s Department Stores teamed up with local charity With Love It's a Small Worldfor a service project April 5 at Frisco ISD’s Sonntag Elementary School.

Volunteers pulled weeds, picked up trash and painted paw prints, a U.S. map and other décor on the playground and sidewalks outside the school.

The event was part of Kohl’s National Go Green campaign, which provides grants to partner organizations during the month of April.

Small World, which funds college scholarships for low-income graduating FISD seniors, will receive up to $4,500 for the employees’ efforts.
