It's tax season, and while taxes can be confusing, the Frisco Public Library is looking to ease your worries with a Tax Assistance Course on Thursday, March 29 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Volunteers with the AARP will assist guests on a first-come, first-served basis.
Guests are asked to bring the following items on Saturday:
- social security card for each person on the tax return form
- all necessary tax forms (W-2, SSA-1099, any forms indicating federal tax paid, etc)
- driver’s license
- copy of last year’s tax return
- dependent care provider information (name, employer, social security number, tax ID)
- all 1099 forms (1099-INT, etc)
- unemployment compensation
