Results from the UIL Class 4A state swimming and diving meet have been posted, with many competitors from Frisco ISD earning top-10 places. The meet was held Feb. 24 and 25 at the Lee and Joe Jamail Texas Swim Center at the University of Texas at Austin.
Whitney Allen of Frisco High took home the state championship for the the 200-meter individual medley. Corey Nix of Frisco High won the state championship in the 100-meter free race while setting a state record. In addition, the boys 200-meter free relay team, consisting of Corey Nix, Radu Prunoiu, Ben Maxwell and Trent Sandwisch won the state championship with a time of 1:25.75.
