Frisco Family Services celebrates Ten Successful Years of their

Summer Lunch Program at Grand Finale Event

Frisco, TX (July 27, 2017) -With the support of local church partners and our caring community, Frisco Family Services’ Summer Lunch Program provides school-aged kids living in Frisco and Frisco ISD, with lunches and weekend snack packs each day for 8-weeks during the summer. This year’s Summer Lunch Program marks the 10th anniversary of this very impactful seasonal program.

On Friday, July 28th, Frisco Family Services will be hosting their Summer Lunch Grand Finale while celebrating ten years of Summer Lunch success. Providing more than 10,000 lunches and weekend snack packs to over 300 children, participants not only get to nourish their bodies with healthy meals and snacks, but they also participate in physical activities, reading, arts and crafts.

“The meals we provide for the children that participate in our Summer Lunch Program eases some of the stress put on families who have been affected by crisis and that are on a limited budget,” said Priscilla Haros, Bilingual Case Manager. “My favorite part about Summer Lunch is being able to see kids come out each day and participate in fun activities that allow them to just be kids.”
